Across the Public Sector, organisations are under significant
and increasing pressure to deliver efficiencies and
service improvements. In many cases they are expected
to do this against a backdrop of relocations, restructures,
mergers and multiple initiatives. The need for appropriately
skilled and experienced staff who can effectively deliver
this change has never been so prevalent. Yet, ironically,
it is often those organisations that are already short
of appropriately skilled staff that are under the most
pressure to deliver.
The PIPC G&PS team brings a unique combination
of ‘blue chip’ consulting expertise balanced
with deep sector specific experience. Our consultants
have either spent the majority of their careers in consulting
more often than not with the ‘Big 5’ consulting
firms where they specialised in Government work or were
Senior Managers / Directors in the Public Sector before
becoming consultants.
Between them they have successfully delivered programmes
for Central Government including DCSF, DCLG, MoD, DfT,
DWP, HMRC and DoH. The team also brings a great deal
of experience of working across Local Government, with
children’s and adult’s services and with
